How credits work

Credit is a whole-number translation unit, separate from money, tokens and request counts.

The confirmed whole-book price is charged once when the task is created. It stays fixed regardless of actual model usage. If the platform or model ultimately cannot deliver, the full charge is automatically returned.

Canceling retains the full charge and saved progress; you can resume the same task for free. Permanent deletion prevents resuming and does not remove any existing failure-refund obligation.
